HR Majlis is pure HR. There are Keynotes, Panel Discussions, Super10 Deep Dive, Fireside chats and Workshops in our program and a sales pitch won’t be one of them. Genuine, honest and personal stories of pure HR only. Topics, Agenda will be published in good time.
At the HR Majlis events, we inform, inspire, and connect people who love HR. HR Majlis events are free for HR Practitioners to attend. Our monthly HR Majlis sessions will feature refreshing topics that will provide deep insights into our world of work. The HR Majlis will also explore and discuss how the rest of the world is addressing the same problems that we have; and more importantly, how can they be adapted to suit our work environment and other legal considerations. If you’re a thought leader, share our goal and you’d like to speak at #HRMAJLIS, we would love to hear from you.
A talk at the HR Majlis isn’t just a story or a list of facts.
It involves insightful observations and an exciting conclusion about the future of HR.
This could be: a compelling story, a conceptual “how to”, a presentation on a pressing industry issue or an interactive educational discussion in a small setting.

Why should I apply to be a Speaker?
HR Majlis is community that attracts HR professionals to join at no cost to them. Roshcomm has been working very hard to bring the HR community together, and the HR Majlis is our way of giving back. We know that there is a yawning gap between what HR practitioners are taught and the real world. The HR Majlis attempts to bridge this gap by bringing leaders like you to share bold, honest and insightful thoughts to help educate, motivate and improve the HR Community at large. The only thing we ask of you is your time and your willingness to seek or provide answers that are troubling the HR community. You may not even provide answers, but because of your experience, you may raise all the right questions. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
What’s the story you want to tell?
We are mainly interested in an engaging story. When writing your application, think about why your story matters, the value it provides the audience and how your story will be remembered. Consider your end goal – is it to inspire, motivate, or raise awareness?If your goal is to promote a product or deliver a sales pitch, this place is not for you.
Overall, your session should be inspirational, actionable, and/or educational.
What format fits this story best?
Keynote
A presentation that establishes a strong main idea related to a track. The main idea should inspire, motivate, educate, and engage audiences with a clear conclusion.
Fireside chat
An informal conversation or interview between two people that reveals new stories from Speakers.
Panel Discussion
A live discussion about a specific topic or trend amongst a selected group of Panelists (max 4), hosted by a professional Moderator.
Roundtable Session
Deep conversations on specific topics in small and interactive groups. Roundtable session delegates need to book their seats pre-event.
When will I know if I am accepted?
We respect your time and your committment to share your knowledge to the HR Community
You will receive an email with our confirmation within a few days after your application.
When can I submit?
Right now! Go for it. We’ll close submissions soon, and we’ll be reviewing on a rolling basis.
Other Terms
- There is no charge to speak
- We do not pay a speaker fee.
- Content has to be original, new, or adjusted for this event
- Each session can have a maximum of one person per organization
- Successful proposals are chosen based on the proposed idea and Speakers suggested. Changes in subject or Speakers have to go through the content team
- Spaces are limited and some proposals may be offered a slot in a different format or stage than originally applied for
- Once offers are accepted, Speakers and session content confirmed, we will announce the Speakers on the website
