Overview:
Leadership theories abound. There is at least 1 Leadership course that is being delivered everyday around the world. Yet, for many, the concept of Leadership has remained rather hazy. As part of our ongoing Leadership and Culture season, we present the Episode "High-level to eye-level: Breaking down the Leadership Code" The HR Majlis session will feature an informal setting in which top global Leadership and Culture Gurus will take center-stage and will breakdown the concept of learning and being a leader at home and the workplace. Some of the topics that we will explore are:
- What is Leadership?
- I am a Manager. Am I a Leader?
- I am not a Manager. Can I be a Leader?
- What are the characteristics of a Leader? And how do I acquire them?
- How do I lead at home?
- What do I do after I become a leader?
- How do I know if someone is a Leader?
- Do Leaders only lead? Or do they also follow?
- Leadership in an organisation: is it only confined to the Senior Management?
- And a lot more. The session will be moderated by the Session chair
